SEO/GEO Audit
I look at how search engines and AI find and read your website, how well it’s optimised for user experience and conversions, and whether your analytics need fixing. I’ll also look at your closest competitor that does better in search, to find the techniques you might be missing. You get a plain-language overview, the full audit with every finding and the evidence behind it, and a plan to act on.
Tools behind the audit
-
Search demand, rankings and links, for you and the competitor that outranks you
-
Beamtrace What AI assistants answer about you, and the sources they cite. I work on Beamtrace
-
BLURSOR Whether AI crawlers can reach and read your pages. My own tool
With your access: Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools.
Ataköy Görüntüleme, Istanbul
An independent audit of a diagnostic imaging centre’s public website, set against a competitor that appears in about 30 times as many Google searches. It explains why, what to fix first and how to measure the result.
- Why the competitor ranks: a page for each examination and far more sites linking to it
- Answers from eight AI and search engines to ten patient questions, quoted in full: who each engine named instead of the clinic, and which sites it cited
- Pages for other scans carrying MRI text, one of which Google now shows for an MRI search
- A link click counted as a conversion before any form was sent
Prepared from public evidence before any engagement. Privacy and security observations went to the clinic privately and are not published.
What I check
-
Technical foundations
Crawling, index controls, canonical URLs, redirects, internal links, structured data, and how fast and usable your pages are on a phone.
-
Language versions
Whether hreflang, language switchers and redirects send visitors and search engines to the right version of each page.
-
Organic search and links
What people actually search for, how your pages compare with the competitors who outrank you, and which sites link to them and to you.
-
Local search and reputation
Your Google Business Profile, your reviews and rating against the competitor, and whether your name, address and hours match everywhere they appear.
-
AI visibility (GEO)
AI crawler access, and what Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Grok answer when people ask about your services: whether they name you, who they name instead and which sources they cite.
-
Content and trust
Whether service pages are accurate, specific and complete in every language, who wrote and reviewed them and when, and which pages overlap or contradict each other.
-
Conversion and analytics
Whether the route to an enquiry works on a phone, what your tags actually send, and what counts as a conversion.
-
Privacy and compliance
Which consent decisions need an owner, basic security settings, and the advertising rules for your sector where they apply.
What you get
- A one-page visual overview for the people who decide.
- The full audit, with the evidence, priority, owner and acceptance check for every finding, as a web page and a PDF.
- A findings register and a 90-day roadmap your developer, editor or agency can work from.
- A recommendation on whether to repair the current site, redesign its templates or migrate.
- Every AI answer to your question set, quoted in full with its sources, as a web page and a PDF.
- A separate internal annex for privacy or security observations that shouldn’t circulate widely.
Medical websites
For medical practices I also check how service information, clinical accountability, language support and enquiry handling fit together, and what the health advertising rules mean for how you can promote the practice. Medical accuracy and legal approval stay with your qualified team.
How it starts
There are two ways to start, and the same form works for both.
Kickoff is when the fee is paid and you’ve shared any access the audit needs.
What happens next
Useful to include
- Your website address
- The services or locations that matter most
- The competitors you lose to in search
- Any access you can share, such as Search Console or analytics
LinkedIn is usually the easiest place to find me.
